BNSF Railway’s Technology Awareness Day (TAD) – 2022

The Delta Mu Education Foundation is proud to offer assistance to one of its corporate sponsors, BNSF Railway in promoting participation in its Technology Awareness Day activities being held from February 9 thru the 11th.”  The details are found below.  So, if you have a young high schooler or know of someone who does please forward this information on this vitally important opportunity

BNSF Technology Awareness Day

BNSF doesn’t run without technology and the people who build, maintain and operate it. That’s why we believe in engaging local youth to promote technology and related career opportunities. One of the main ways we do that is through BNSF’s Technology Awareness Day (TAD) program.

In its 23rd year, TAD will be held in 2022 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on February 9, 10 and 11. This year’s theme is “Innovation starts with you.” Once again, TAD will be completely virtual through Zoom in 2022 and open to any high school student across BNSF’s rail network.

Ahead of TAD this year, there will be four contests and opportunities for students to win prizes for Graphic Art, Video, Essay and Mobile App/Website Design. These contests are open to all students and winners will be announced during TAD. Students can access the contests on the TAD website, and contest entries must be submitted no later than January 28. Student participants must submit contest entries directly to TAD@bnsf.com by email. For answers to any questions about these contests, you may contact the TAD Committee through that same email address.

If you know of a high school student who may be inspired by technology and future innovation, it’s time to sign them up for BNSF 2022 TAD.
